Who You Will Be

What happens when three people fall asleep in three different parts of the world, and wake up with one singular consciousness?

"Who You Will Be" is a concept short film I wrote, directed, and DP'd with the help of my AD Sarah K. Chute, at Stonestreet: Screen Acting and Producing Studios, NY, NY. One day I hope to return to this concept on a larger scale.

I created this piece because I wanted to explore what makes us who we are- is it our experiences, personality, ambition, morals, outward appearance?- and what we become when we are overwhelmed by the need to throw away who we were in the past and transform into a "better" version of ourselves, to be "great", no matter who we lose. Should you trade who you are for who you'd rather be?
